The security plays a key role in day-to- day operations of the business. The role of security officer is to maintain safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.

Requirements

• Grade 11/12 or an equivalent qualification
• PSIRA registration
• Driver’s license an added advantage
• Fire Arm Competency (business use) and advantage
• A clear criminal record

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property
• Obtains help by sounding alarms.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities;
• Informing violators of policy and procedures;
• Restraining trespassers.
• Controls traffic by directing drivers.
• Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
• Regularly monitor the shopfloor.
• Check all goods that leave the company premises.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
