Minimum requirements
- Grade 12 or GED
- Psira certificate
- PRISA
- Grade C with DH1 and DH2 for dog controller
- A love for dogs
- All Firearm with competency
- An observation, alert, and patient disposition
Duties/ Responsibility (Skills)
- Assisting in providing food and medication to dogs
- Ensuring that all sleep, pay, and training areas are clear and sanitary
- Must Conduct regular foot patrols of the office premises both indoors and outdoors
- Conferring with dogs owners to determine the type of training required
- Monitor officers on grounds, security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control points
