Internship DescriptionÂ
Makers Landing has identified the need to provide practical for Hospitality interns, offering workplace experiential training as well valuable networking opportunities with industry Leaders.
As a hospitality intern, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operations o f daily activities at Makers Landing.
Key Responsibilities and DutiesÂ
- Storage and Equipment: Oversee all wet and dry storage areas, commercial kitchen equipment, events, demo kitchen equipment and d general hygiene at Makers Landing
- Project Coordination: responsible for coordinating day to day projects and checklist as per schedule
- Administrative Tasks: Attend all meetings, maintain stock and equipment records, and on activities at Makers Landing
- Inventory Management: Assist with Planning and maintaining inventory to ensure controls and minimise waste
Minimum Requirements and SkillsÂ
- Ability to learn on the job
- Knowledge in health and safety protocols
- Must be residing in South Africa
- Willing to work shifts
- Interns who require workplace experiential training as part of qualification required
