Are you ready to play a vital role in ensuring safety and security? On Point Security is currently seeking a skilled Control Room Operator to join our dedicated team.

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 10 / Matric
• Possession of valid PSIRA certification.
• Drivers license will be an advantage
• Flexibility to work day or night shifts, as required by the company.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
• Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite
• A current Certificate of Good Conduct
• An analytical mind with problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform daily control room tasks with high integrity and efficiency
• Monitor CCTV and report any unusual activity to the Line Manager
• Respond promptly to radio checks and keep accurate records of all communication
• Keep a record of any incidents and report these to the Duty Security Officer
• Report any alarm activation to the Duty Security Manager.
