Job Summary
As a blockman, Pick n Pay requires you to have the skills of cutting meat with being cautious at higher level. This position only requires you to have matric.
- Minimum duties and responsibilities
- Report any defective equipment or utensils to the butchery manager
- Prepare and break various meat carcasses according to laid down specifications
- De-boning all cuts of meat and manufacture mince or produce sausages and boerewors.
- Percentage wastage or shrinkage or damages
- Check temperatures and monitor or maintain the cold chain
- Provide the required product or services and handle customers in a courteous and businesslike manner
