- All South African citizen
- Age between 18-35
- No criminal record
- No pending case against the applicant
- Grade 12 certificate
- Some Positions need or require ABET or Grade 10
Why this initiative?
As South Africa was hit by the Global Pandemic Covid19, the government saw it fit to introduce it to equip unemployed youth with a real world experience. So will be assisting teachers and others will be performing general duties such as cleaning and other duties.

- Question: Why did you apply for this job?
- Answer: Well, I saw this position in a social media advertisement and I thought of applying since I have all required qualifications.
- Question: What role do you think you can play in this position as a teacher assistant?
- Answer: As a teacher assistant, my duty is clearly assisting the teachers in various aspects such as marking classworks and homeworks. With that being said, it will be reducing a load of work for teachers and they can easily focus more on the curriculum without any delays.
- Question: are you immediately available in case we shortlist you?
- Answer: I’ve always been available and that is why I applied on time.
