Summary of the position

The main tasks and responsibilities associated with the position are listed below. This is not an exhaustive list of tasks that could be reasonably expected by the candidates.

Key Performance Area Includes

Collect and deliver internal mail and parcels
Moving and packaging of stock items on the building
Move and place furnitures as requested
Responsible for plumbing repairs as required
Minor electrical repairs
Paint work as needed
General maintenance including carpentry, tilling and fixing doors
Report any defects or maintenance to the office manager working conditions

Minimum Requirements

Matric or standard 10
1-2 years experience as handyman will be advantageous
Basic health and safety knowledge
Basic knowledge on how to use operating tools
Basic literacy and numeracy

Other Requirements

Clear criminal record
Ability to communicate well
