Security Officers: SDS Protection Security
SDS Protection are seeking for qualified Security Officers to join our team , the security officer ensures the safety of people, objects, or buildings, either in person or via security cameras.
Location: Gauteng and KZN
Requirements
- Grade 10-12
- RSA citizen
- A valid driver’s license
- Over 2 years of experience as an
- Armed Response Officer
- Business purposes for all relevant firearms (handgun, shotgun, and SL Rifle)
- Valid competency certificates
Valid PSIRA registration
Medical fit for mine purpose
Duties and Responsibilities
- Controls traffic by directing drivers.
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
- Interviews witnesses and obtains signatures as needed.
- Maintains environment by monitoring
- Maintains the organization’s stability
- Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Skills
- Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours
- Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
- Basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent sense of judgment
- Can stay alert at all times
